Recorded at the Rainbow Theatre, London, England with the Manor Mobile Unit (8/1/77, 8/2/77, 8/3/77, 8/4/77), and the Lisner Auditorium, George Washington University, Washington, DC, with the Fedco Remote (8/8/77, 8/9/77, 8/10/77). Manchester City Hall, Manchester, England (7/29/77) was also recorded on 24-track tape, but nothing was ever used from this date.

Disc 1 (1-1 to 1-12) & Disc 2 (2-1 to 2-5) from the original release of Waiting For Columbus, Warner Bros. #2BS-3140 (2/10/78). Refurbished at Sunset Sound, Hollywood, CA; Westlake Audio, Los Angeles, CA (8/19/77-9/10/77). Mixed at Westlake Audio, Los Angeles, CA (9/12/77-10/16/77).

For aesthetic reasons, the playing order of Sides 2 (1-9 to 1-12) & 3 (1-6 to 1-8) has been switched so that the band's main set (contained on Disc 1) now concludes with the long ovation that leads into the encore. Disc 2 (2-6 to 2-10), tracks refurbished & mixed for the original album Waiting For Columbus, but not used.

Disc 2 (2-11, 2-12): Selections that were apparently never considered for inclusion on either the original album or Hoy-Hoy! They are newly mixed from the original multitrack tapes and do not contain any overdubs.
Disc 2 (2-13 to 2-15) first issued on the album Hoy-Hoy!, Warner Bros. #2BSK-3538 (7/29/81), tracks refurbished & mixed at George Massenburg Studios (The Complex), West Los Angeles, CA (12/80-3/81).

This release now contains all the songs that were performed at the series of shows recorded for this album.

Contains 23-page booklet.
