USA Radio DJ 7" advance promo-pack, with tracks from the 'Clear Spot' album [MS 2115] (also contained on the clear-bagged promo album).

Probably a hundred at most produced in a further attempt to commercialize Beefheart.

The 7" is contained in a punch-hole liner, slid in [at the spine] into a right-hand pocket on the inside of a 4-page med-weight card sleeve.

The sleeve is gloss-print finished in a yellowy-grey, black and white design.
(It is also slightly too small [W180mm x D185mm] for an easy fit of the liner. It may, therefore, have been the intention that the liner was not included).

The cover has a line-illustration of Wolfman Jack [uncredited - but certainly not by Vliet].
This is a 'teaser' for the content (The cover can be mistaken as being the back, as it carries no 'title').
Inside front reads "Captain Beefheart Has Gone Commercial".
The back carries the band name & album title & a 'heads-up' strapline from Beefheart.
