Mick Abrahams featured on Jethro Tull's first two albums before he split to form the first incarnation of Blodwyn Pigin 1969. 'Lies' recorded in '93 by B.P. mach 9 is a more soulful affair with the band leaving porgressive and jazz behind. Apart from the title track, there's a ton of R&B-styled material here including covers of songs by Doc Pomus ans Dr. John. This CD includes two live tracks, 'I Wonder Who' and 'All Said and Done' which appeared only on the out of print Viceroy release.
