Degüello marked the return of ZZ Top as a recording and touring entity after a three-year hiatus following their legendary "World Texas Tour." The band's three members (guitarist Billy Gibbons, bass player Dusty Hill and drummer Frank Beard) regrouped in 1979 to record Degüello, and there's been no looking back since. The album's themes of fast women, fast cars and hot Texas blues are reflected in songs like "I'm Bad, I'm Nationwide," "A Fool For Your Stockings," "She Loves My Automobile" and "Lowdown In The Street." Since Degüello, ZZ Top released gold certified El Loco (1981) and the platinum Eliminator (1983).
