The original Brazilian edition included the 12 page "Jornal Caipira" Year 2, Number 2, in the format of a newspaper. It had ads, horoscope, various sections, some sheet music, guitar tabs and traditional Brazilian folklore texts.
It is dated: Rio De Janeiro, a wonderful day in 1979.
The liner notes:
"The music on this album is dedicated to Sapain and Xingu Indians, whose teachings were so important to me during the time I spent with them in the Amazon jungle, its color and mysteries; the sun, the moon, the rain and the winds, the river and the fish, the sky and the birds, but most of all the integration of musician, music and instrument into an undivided whole."
